Nice. I've looked at both versions, and love how differently they're drawn, with her bare feet being smooth, flushed and shiny, while the stockinged feet have folds and wrinkles.
Considering it's a tease, jumping from one to the next is like looking at both of them in sequence: Getting the viewer's attention, and then hooking him once the stockings come off.
I have one critical thought which is rare for me, since I write rather than draw, but feel free to let me know if you're interested, and how discreet you'd like me to be about it.Β

So, the only issue that stood out to me was how the stockings appeared to be both loose and tight at the same time. They hugged the toes tightly, almost completely wrapping around her big toes. The sort of thing you'd expect if Akiko were stretching her feet, subtly pushing out the balls of her feet and pulling back the toes, to get someone's attention.
However,Β if that were the case, thenΒ I imagine the rest of the stocking would cling to her foot as well, kind of like a perfect silhouette, rather than sporting all these folds and wrinkles.
A shame really, since I did enjoy the folds and wrinkles. Looks like a bit of a fanservice vs. realism conundrum.Β
Perhaps it was a deliberate compromise on your part.Β

Haha, I see what you mean. No, your right, it should be more stretched out and tight looking.
I guess you could say part of it is fanservice, part of me didn't want to just color it over with the sock color and pushed to hard to emphasize there is something with some thickness being worn. Also trying to work on my wrinkles and it's not too often I get asked to draw socked feet XD.
Thanks for the insight though, i'll definitely consider it when working on my other projects!

What kind of stockings are these, if they have individual toes but not reslly?

They're based on Tabi socks.
