Although it has probably been firmly established by now among most of you, for those that were still unsure about my mental state, this should lay all doubt to rest that I am officially batshit fucking crazy.

That planet, and the atmosphere, and the clouds in the foreground, as well as the clouds on the planet, and the sun off screen, are 100% 3D... rendered in Poser's Firefly. The picture in the foreground is some skydome pic I swiped from somewhere. I still need to work on the actual topography of the planet since that's just terraformed Mars MOLA data you're seeing there. I'm also going to model some nice thunderclouds at some point.

PS: its supposed to be a binary planetary system, two planets basically spinning around each other.

Basically what happened is that in one of my comics I need a planet that goes through the sky at different phases and different times of day. So my initial plan was to make a set of skydomes in which this planet has different positions in it. But since there were so many variables, like cloud cover, the azimuth of the sun, the shadows on the planet and the clouds ont he planet itself, it was basically easier for me to make a small planetarium, with a set of transparent skydomes as the atmosphere, and a 3d planet that actually rotates around the main set, and also rotates itself, as well as a sun and clouds that move around.

And all this for erotic comics?
