At first glance I thought the red at his feet was blood. I'm glad to see it was not the case.

Haha, that was my thought actually! I was thinking about making the leaves completely red at first, but decided to give them some more colours so it wouldn't look too "bloody"

More colors (and a more detailed second glance) definitely makes up for a pile of leaves instead of a larger-than-normal puddle of blood. Buuut it IS Dark so.... Nevermind.
