Description
This is a scene from the bestseller novel of the Dragon Lance Series, "Dragonlance Chronicles: Dragons of Winter Night". My scatch is a bit old, I worked on it when I read the book.Kitiara riding her dragon, Skie, about to kill Sturm .Sturm stands out on the front wall and fights the lead dragon, and is killed by its rider, Kitiara.
This is a hand sketch. For colouring Photoshop CS2 is used.
Approx. 38 hours with a mouse.

The DragonLance series is means alot to me personally and this portrayal of Sturm's death is one of the finest pieces of DL art I've ever seen. Fantastic work.

Sketch is a bit simple but people love emotional spirit in this scene like you.

Your use of colors is just awesome. I really love this picture. If I have to give it a little flaw, Skie's arm looks a bit too thin and small and it makes him look a bit like a drake instead of a dragon, but the picture is amazing anyway.
