I agree with on of the other posters... it does make me think of old rock and roll albums and t-shirts and old Heavy Metal covers. Really nice!

Thank you my friend. As I told Zededd in my reply to his comment, that is what I had in mind.

wow... i remember as a kid looking at postcards and tee-shirts of awesome art with dolphins and space all rolled into one... when i was older i came to the conclusion that such things were made with physical art alone and a little of it would always be lost in prints... i am amazed to be shown that it can be done just as well in 3d and with amazing effect

Thank you. If you imagine the black areas in the image would be a thin black velvet and the colored parts would be done in fluorescent colors, can you imagine how it looks like in UV light?
That's how some amazing posters were done in these days.
I tried to establish this pop out effect in my image, glad that it worked out well.

The dolphin in the foreground is going to eat me. I just know it. *ahem* Moving on.

Vibrant colors and I like how the design in her wings transfers to her body as well. The amount of detail put into her jewelry is amazing as well. The piece has a lot of flow to it, which is good. I like the sigils on her upper body. It gives her an otherworldly look. I haven't ever thought of Atlantis like this before and I like the take on it. The stars and galaxy in the background are nice touches which makes Atlantis stand out more.

I can see how much you've improved since you made this piece. It's a good work in its own right but your more recent works have more depth to them. The dolphin in the background has a bit of an odd angle to its head, like it's too long from the bend. The shading on her torso becomes a bit sharp though and it's almost like she's sucking the top of her belly in and not the rest of it; it gives her an odd look right there.

Very, very nice piece though. You always have a unique take on things and I like that. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you once again for commenting on my work. You are absolutely right, I have evolved in my works, however sometimes like a look back and even rework some ideas I had back then.
The idea when I started uploading to DA was to move my entire gallery here. So I hope my friends are patient with me showing some older works as well every now and then.
I have a lot of new yet unfinished works on my hard drives, but I am also very busy in my job right now, so I might take some months off before uploading new images.
Wish you a nice summer..

Thank you very much. I wish you a nice summer as well.

Yeah, looking back can be helpful. I'll be patient. Good art is always worth the wait.
