Lol. It makes me pathetic because I've been an artist for soo soo many years. ^_^ And since I'm old and not as good as teenagers...or even people younger than you, that makes me a little pathetic.

No. People learn at different amount of time. And people draw different amount. I don't know how much you draw, but if you want to improve you have to draw atleast 2 times a day and do studies of anatomy, color, composition ect. So people it happens faster, but that does not mean you are pathetic.
