A dozen kanzashi hair clips, one seasonal motif for each month of the year. I would like to do another set, with alternate motifs, but I don't have the time right now.I think a little set of 12 like this would be great for someone who likes the seasonal kanzashi motifs, but doesn't wear maiko hairstyle or doesn't like huge hair ornaments. What do you think?
January - aster
February - ume (plum) Blossom
March - nanohana
April - sakura (cherry blossom)
May -fuji (wisteria)
June - Yanagi and nadeshiko (willow and dianthus)
July - uchiwa (decorated round fan)
August - asagao (morning glory)
September - kikyo (bellflower or balloon flower)
October kiku (chrysanthemum)
November - momiji (turning maple leaves)
December - pine and bamboo

Thanks! I like it too, but it was a pain to fold! Took me twice as long as normal to get that one put together. Morning glory petals are difficult to do in small sizes. XD

I've found anything in miniature is 2-3x as hard as the original. Especially when painting or making jewelry!

Thank you! I'm going to have to re-do some of them for the book, apparently the lighting wasn't good, and all my pictures of the process ended up blurry once I actually got them on the computer.
