A miniature kanzashi piece hung on a necklace chain.

This was kind of a challenge for me, I wanted to see how small I could make the basic kanzashi petal types and flower shapes. I used basic round, basic pointed, reversed round, reversed pointed, pleated and triangular petal shapes, and included sakura, plum, bellflower and rose flower shapes.

It took me a little bit longer to make than my average kanzashi, as it was much harder to fold the petals.

The little aqua flower at the bottom of the cluster is the smallest I've ever made, measuring just 1/2 cm across.

The main piece is composed of eight different flowers and measures about 1 1/4" in diameter (just ever so slightly bigger than an American quarter) , with shidare measuring at 1 3/4" and 2"
