If i may leave a comment myself. my primary crit would be about the model that does not have structure. and kar hitting point not attachment points. and focus allot on your planes. that way you will pick up small things that actually make a character what it its.

I like the contrast of muscular build and oversized claws with a sort of dopey, gentle expression.

Looking cool man, as always. I would say that the hands are a bit weird for me, thumbs on the outside are interesting, but I don't think it "looks" right. The anatomy looks great, I can really see this thing running around, nice. I would say that the head looks like a herbivores head of a docile creature, but the feet look much more like a predator/carnivore. They look awesome but I'm not sure they fit together you know. Your sculpts always look awesome anyway, and the texture looks pretty damn cool as well, nice work man. Oh and you might want to change the text on you logo/signature, the emboss/highlight make it look a bit kitsch and a bit difficult to read, the symbols at the sides look great but they are overpowering the thin text just a bit too much, maybe make them a bit more subtle and the text slightly bolder.

Oh nice! Yeah i want to learn Z brush. I know only a little. Nice work , im no expert but one thing i would suggest, unless thats not his natural pose, to maybe bring his weight back a little?

eSculpt In reply to Jaminion [2011-12-14 01:01:23 +0000 UTC]

you should learn it, I find it fundamentally awesome these days, however i'm no expert either

but yeah i think you're spot on with the weight suggestion. I'll get to that when I pose him though. need to do a shifty retopo before i can because his lowest subdiv is 3 million polys.
