Note: I uploaded a slightly tweaked version of this in the same deviation.
Note: another slight tweak.

Finally done. Please click fullview for better image.

Modelling in Maya 2011

Textures and details for the creatures done in Zbrush 4, with some photoshop texture tweaks.

And then... Post production done in photoshop.

Nice picture!
I really like how you've made the depth look so cool. The creature is awsome although I think you could use some photofilters to combine better with all the rest, with the creature or the background, but thats just my opinion

well the only way the bible has presented them is as glowing people, and everyone just seems to know instantly that they are angels. idk, maybe there is a marking or something on them.
