Oh I wanted a Shetty with this name, I wanted it so badly and here it is!

(Rumpelstilzchen is the evil Goblin in a German fairytale by Brothers Grimm [link] . A Rumpelstilzchen makes noise by shaking table leg and other things. In the vernacular, short-tempered little people were called Rumpelstilzchen, too)

Of course not!
Elbdale's big boys (the Trakehner stallions) were not amused to have Shetland stallion Kobold on their pasture. They started to chase and attack him, and poor little pony was always on the run. But Kobold couldn't be kept with the Trakehner mares, either (you may not believe that, but there IS a way how a a Shetland pony stallion manages to get on a Warmblood mare's back to make love ) so the poor boy had to stay alone.

David decided to buy him a mate - being a stallion is hard when you're never allowed to meet one of the mares around you

He searched for another Shetland pony and found a silver mare on a pony breeding farm in US. The mare wasn't the pure, old Shetland pony breed from Scotland, she the lighter Classic Shetland Pony Type.

She was brought to Elbdale and luckily the ponys liked each other ^^ so they got boxes next to each other, and in spring they will be brought on the same meadow, so hopefully we have a cute Shetland Pony foal next year
