Description

After the defeat of the Successor Empires, who hungrily tried to fill in the void of the vanished Deiocracy, the younger powers that formed came to agree that a common body to settle as many conflicts and arguments as it could would be attractive.
Thus, on the husk of Vulcan, 200 odd years after the Deiocracy ended, the System Council was inaugurated. The main powers would each come together in the Main Council, with committees (X Councils) on Trade, Law, Social Affairs, Environment, and so forth, offering counsel, arbitration, and bilateral treaties.
Absorbed into the System Council were the mysterious guardians, who were hesitant at first, but accepted a formalisation of their ongoing activities as a watchdog and intervention force on 'X+' level dangers, such as asteroid positioning (but not exploitation), WMD watch and destruction, and likewise dangers.
The council would usher in a period of standardization and light peace, and membership was open to any space-faring government, though the ongoing radicalisation and polarised nature of many of these governments would still result in conflict from time to time.
The flag is composed of eight gold eight-pointed stars, representing the eight planets of SolSys, around a singular eight-pointed gold star, representing Sol, on a teal field, representing harmonious space.
