Day 7 of 31 Days of Candy Challenge.Draw yourself as candy.
I have been baking a lot this year and using quite a bit of chocolate. Then I thought of Adventure Time and felt like this just kinda came together. This is "me" drawn in the style of Adventure Time, 'Princess Coco' from the Land of Chocolate.
I used colour for this one, because trying to depict chocolate and candy just doesn't come though with the blackness of ink and it wouldn't look as yummy.

Overall, it's a lovely drawing.
Style-wise, it works. I can definitely see the influence from Adventure Time on the character and the background.
You definitely made the right choice to color this pic. It really gives life to the character and the scenery behind her. Color scheme works very nicely. I like how the colors are used in a way to make almost every part of the picture stand out. Personally speaking, I would like to see the sky colored as well. It will make the pic look more finished. A light baby blue should do the job, but feel free to use another color that can work.
The perspective, however, is all over the place. I can see the pathway and the white flowers following some sort of perspective, but other parts of the pic such as the tree and the castle don't. I would expect the trees that are closet to her appear bigger than the ones further away. I would not expect to see the top flat surfaces of the castle from this vantage point. Next time you draw a pic similar to this, I would use a reference and be more careful to make sure everything follows perspective.
I noticed there is variations in line width, which is good. However, I would use it in a more consistent and logical manner. Personally speaking, the lineart for the mountains and the edges of the pathway are a bit too thick for my tastes. Same thing can be said for the detailing of the middle portion of the castle.

Thank you. I had a bit of trouble with some of the stuff like the path way being one of the obvious. And unfortunately, I did notice some of the issues with it until I added color and then things started to stand out to me. I also really happy you pointed out the sky color. I was at a bit of a loss as to what colour would work. I didn't want to mess it up further, so, I opted out of colouring the sky. But, I might go back and add colour to it in the future. Taking your advice and using a soft blueish colour. Thanks again!

Although i enjoy the simplistic art style here perhaps you could add a nose or more oval shaped eyes with whites and pupils. The colors work very very well together and looks very professional. I think instead of placing a big watermark over the middle you should lace the art with tiny watermarks to seem more natural but hard to steal.

Thanks for your feed back. I also appreciate the advice about the water mark. I have been trying to figure out the water mark thing and in the end I just end up using this one.
