I know exactly what you mean though. Before school started this year I got the bright idea that I would take one chapter worth of notes every day until I went out of town for my world studies class since it's always really boring, but as it turns out it's one of my most fun classes and we don't follow the book's structure or take notes from it at all XD I felt like I had wasted so much time

Haha, I remember having a sub in 8th grade in reading class once who fell asleep! He just told us to do whatever but to keep it down and a few minutes later, he fell asleep on our teacher's desk!
