Haha, wow, how does it feel to have a teacher flinch at your work?
I like how the yellow and blue almost create a partial border along the bottom and left. And the shapes sort of remind me of bats. Bats flying through a volcanic cave.

I love the sound of the sitar! I have no hope of learning it though. I came to terms with my lack of musical talent years ago ("knowing how to play something" =/= being good at it, at least for me).

Are the bagpipes somewhat easier to master, then?
Alas. Sitars are expensive, and I think demand is such that they'll always be around, but they'll never be on sale. Do I buy one and try to teach myself? Seems too much of a risk.

To clarify, before you actual play the *bagpipes* themselves you use a practice chanter, which, yes, is super easy. Once you master that, then you learn how to manipulate the air with the actual bagpipes, etc. My lessons stopped not long after I just started on the bagpipes, so I can't really say if *those* are easy.
As is with all instruments, pretty much :/ I don't know what to tell you... keep an eye out for garage sales? That's how I got a good deal on my violin. Or do your best to practice on something with a similar concept as the sitar so you're at least making some headway before buying one.
