A piece I've entered into a competition is running. You have to make a famous painting your own by altering it in some way.This is 'Girl in Green with Gloves' by Tamara De Lempicka [link] In this piece I've added my head instead of the original models head. I did this because I thought it would demonstrate my Lempicka fetish... kinda like saying- 'I love Lempicka so much I wanna be in one of her paintings!' haha... and so I am!

haha thank you! i guess my piece did not have much meaning behind it as to why i included my face. Oh well thas life i guess! The winner did deserve it though! hers was amazing

thanks! yea i didnt know the painting before i accidently stumbled across it a couple of years ago and instantly fell in love with it! Lempicka isn't very well known unless you're focussing on art from the jazz age
