I have been in contact with different professional photographers after I was on an other forum also confronted with terms like "You only produce junk"; "Your pictures are shit!" etc.
I told them about these remarks and explained to them the problems I see in my photography. They told me the shots are pretty good and some even sell pictures of lesser quality. But they have a name already.
But also I got some very useful hints from them.
While it was nice weather I had the flue, so I had to stay home and now it's raining again almost every day. So I'm waiting for the weather to improve to try out those hints.

I'm glad you were able to get some useful tips. There is a professional photographer in the town down the road who I go to for help. I'm also in a photography club that meets once a month and there are some professional photographers in it who are welling to share their wealth of knowledge. I'm always willing and eager to learn.
I'm glad you are over the flu. Last time I had it I was sick in bed for a week. Terrible...
