i'm obsessed with the archive at boring 3dwell, i wanted some practice, so i started trying to copy some of boring 3d's work, and then ending up with this! lol, it's very hard to make things look like clay

I saw this guy on your demoreel and I had to come see him in person. He's so mysterious. What's he thinking? What's going on in his little elefanty head? I mean, look at him! This is no ordinary elefant, with no thoughts other than eating, sleeping, evacuating wastes, and occasionally procreating. This elefant is deep. He's intelligent. He's got a sense of humor. Sometimes he likes to watch TV, but mostly I think he likes movies. Movies with elephants in them are his favorites, of course, but he really wants to see a movie that's all about the elefant. Maybe someday, a talent scout will see him walking on the street and say, "You're it! You're exactly what I've been looking for!" Then the elefant's story will finally be told.
But what's he thinking right there, I wonder? He looks worried to me. Not overly anxiously worried, I don't think. Just a bit worried. Also maybe a bit hungry. Perhaps he doesn't know what to have for dinner. Perhaps that's what's worrying him.

yep, that's my little elefant. i haven't seen him for a while, though. he's off doing things in his little elefant world. but he'll be back one day!

I liked the demoreel. The music was well-chosen and fit with the visual, which is something I can't conceive of doing as I have no knowledge of creating such things. So it's all very mystical to me.
The part at the beginning with the blocky things that have shadows and then it gets negatived before getting all colorized, um... I hope that made sense. It's at about 24 seconds. Anyway, I like that part. They look like city buildings to me, and then with the darkening - it's really neat. It makes me think of... I dunno what. Some kind of dark city, I suppose. But it's good imagery, and it makes me feel creative so that's all that matters.
I like the little blocks, too, that fall around and land and stuff. Do you have an animation where they sit around and order pizza or something? Hah, probably not. They have such personality for such simple little blockies.

It looks promising in my opinion, maybe because I do know how to model 3D. (except trend whore style 3D abstract)
But what I will complain about is the " eyes", I prefer making eye by using both transparent and solid spheres. You should spend more time on that
