Description
I wanted to make something interesting on comic style, and I found that i´m still far away from being like the comic illustrators I admire. So I go back up against the wall.I think the comic is clear enough, the letters could look little but that´s the eternal battle for illustration space in the making of comics.

An artist is someone who was trained to make art, so it´s not necessary to be an artist to make art but real artists can make better art.

Considerando lo delicado del asunto, Desgracia quería ser muy diplomática. Pude haberle puesto palabras más rebuscadas pero también quería que fuera entendible.

porque Desgracia le pide a Ruby que la deje absorver almas nuevamente? sera que como la mansion es de Ruby,por eso debe pedir permiso?

En la historia no lo expliqué porque sería muy largo: en la mitología de la pesadilla se supone que la mansión es una prisión y Ruby le quitó sus poderes a Desgracia así que sólo ella se los puede devolver, ella los necesita para hacer cosas como absorber almas. Cada vez que hay un tema serio del cual Desgracia quiere hablar los cita a una fiesta de té, así saben que es algo importante y deben tener cuidado con sus respuestas si no quieren terminar mojados.

Souls are an energy source in other dimensions so the beings of that dimensions found the way to create artificial souls.

Original demons once were angels so both of them are body and soul at same time. Artificial demons (demon shape beings from other dimension or beings transformed on demons) are a mistery.

Whoa-that´s creepy... What I really like is the different style betweeen the last and all other panels; it leaves really a feeling of relief that all was only a nightmare. Final resumee: a very good job you´ve made here, mon ami.

This is pretty funny, especially Misery's dialogue and wish. The style was very creepy with it's sharp angular features and ... well, the word that comes to mind is too strong, but something about it reminds me of Edward Gorey's work (beyond the normal Ruby Gloom theme

I tried to make at Image comics style (as Spawn or Kiss Psycho Circus). Considering it was a nightmare i wanted the situations were uncomfortable but even so nice and elegant. Yes, warm milk would be better, but Misery would feel bad if nobody else drink her tea.
That Edward Gorey is a genius! If only i would know him some years before it would influenced my style.
