...I fail so hard at drawing Spock. His perfect hair is torture for me to draw. I thrive on curls and ruffles and long, messy locks. Spock has none of those. I'm sorry, Spock, I love you, but your a pain to draw. :<
I am so addicted to Star Trek 2009 right now, it's not even funny. This is my film heroin, right now. I need a good dose every day, or I'm certain something awful will happen to me.
Usually, I steer clear of drawing real people. My style is made for anime and cartoons, and I often fear what sort of damage I would do to live-action faces. But, this didn't turn out too awful, surprisingly. I'm especially happy with Kirk's face, even though his neck and shoulders are pretty awful. He was the easiest out of all of them to draw. not sure why, though...

Spock's face was fun, (even if his hair drives me up the walls,) because I got to try and capture the way Zachary Quinto's lips always have this little upturn at the corners, while still trying to keep Spock from looking too happy. Lol.
