I could hear my friend's voice, calling from outside the cabin.
Before I could even react, I heard knocking at the front door.
"Let me in...", they said.
But that didn't make sense, since my friend was standing right next to me, looking with unnerved panic at the front door.

Anyway, this is a new monster of mine, which I refer to as 'The Montorey Weeper', or 'Imitator'.

- It's loosely based on folklore creatures like the Wendigo and Skinwalker.
- It can either walk on two legs or on all fours.
- It's jaw portrudes from it's mouth in a disturbing way.
- It has a hairless, pale skin.
- It resembles a sort of hairless human-canine hybrid.
- It's body is almost always hunched.
- It has the ability to imitate voices and sounds, which it uses to lure prey.
- It lives in the Montorey Wilderness, a vast landscape of endless woodland. (fictional location)
- It is refered to as the "Montorey Weeper", since the locals believe that the creature is responsible for making bone-chilling sounds out in the wilderness, which sounds like sobbing and whining.
