No problem and you're welcome!
Have you tried adobe's Kuler? It's a color picker you can find online that can help with creating interesting color schemes. Plus you can just copy and paste the color information into Photoshop to get the exact colors you find on the page.
I find it pretty useful for coming up with interesting contrasts and for playing around with color swatches.
It might help you find colors, not so much on the indecision though!

That's the cool thing about digital media though! You can go through hundreds (not that I'd recommend ever doing that) of variations on color and style until you find something that catches or eye or fits what you're working on. The ability to easily go back and change things is pretty liberating, if you ask me!
Why not try to give it a go and see if it works or not? It can't hurt.
I'd like to see what other types of colors you could do with this!

Always newer and better things to create? I can agree with that. Certainly.
I tend to reiterate a lot. I'll go back to old pieces and redraw them slightly differently. I suppose I'm probably the polar opposite, now that I think about it. I'm almost never "done" with any work. It's because I believe that any piece of artwork (or any work in general) could always be improved upon.
Sllooooooowww goings here. Haha.
Slightly bummed, though, that there's no opportunity to see what other colors this could have.

That makes sense. That's kinda why I try to change it up a little. Change the setting, the lighting, or (I'm a bad example of this) style.
I can see that too, about redoing things can be boring. Is there any chance that you come up with a story while creating these designs? That might help you practice if you come up with ideas/reasons why a certain character is wearing something else or doing something in particular.
I'd be up for seeing what you can do if you try a similar design in the future.

ahh
mm im not too good with stories
i always think that im doing a character that ive seen somewhere before or a characteristic thats too cliche
that always ruins my train of thought xD
does it happen to you ?

One potential avenue to see if that's the case would be (and this is an Evil suggestion) would be to look up the various Tropes on TvTropes. But it's EVIL. It's one of those sites that if it does interest you, you can lose hours and hours to it. Just clicking links and reading page after page. So if you do head over to that website, do take caution!
I'm a storyteller at heart, so I tend to already have an idea in mind when I'm drawing a character. I like to have my drawings and paintings have little stories behind them. It helps me place the characters and the setting.
So I can't say that really happens to me too much, because I'm well versed on what is and isn't cliche. So I'm always trying to deconstruct things. Whether or not I'm successful is up to others to decide. So I'm usually walking in to a painting session knowing what I want to use and abuse before I start working. But that's also because of the above website, which I've read wayyyyyyyy toooooo muuuuccch.
So while it is helpful (you can learn a lot about storytelling) that website can devour days if you let it.

oh damn i clicked it
time to start writing stories
i think its where the point is to just go for it eh >n<
its like the cliches, um like, how anti-heros? or quiet normal "dont want to be hero" main characters are now very popular
i wonder if thats some sort of backlash from the fiery hot tempered main characters from the last chunk of popular manga ?
HEY we could keep in contact and share ideas? :>
i think im pretty decent at coming up with alternate world sort of ideas
you seem like a great person to bump ideas off of lol - does that make sense? x.x
im planning on making a monstrology next semester and i think itll be fun to get feedback from all sorts of people >u<
not just the tutors and classmates at school y_y;

I'd be entirely up for that! I like the idea of potentially bouncing ideas around. You never know how another person might take an idea and roll with it.

I returned the favor.
Also I do have Skype. It's a bit of a gamble when I'm online though. I tend to have a really weird schedule. I'll send you a note with the information when I remember what my Skype account name is.
True that. Bouncing ideas sounds fun though.

I don't really have a schedule. So anything goes here.
Yeah, I just realized the timezone issue. That could make things interesting.
