this is the second part to my creative self portrait (the roses) an there is also a lot of symbolism behind this second piece... i find that everyone has two sides, like the ying yang, a male and female side. it is for this reason that, after painting such a feminine flower as the rose, i decided to paint its opposite: the calla lily.pastel on A3 black paper... 3 and 1/2 hours
