Thanks a lot! The angle is usually unflattering, but for the pose, costume and lighting, I let the photographer do it because I knew how epic he makes every shot

Well, each person has a diferent taste, right? So it's useless to discuss about it.

Do you really think so?
Some values are very elegant and have proven to be appreciated by a vast majority of people. Even if people can't point out exactly why the image is so fascinating similarities to ageless concepts do exist. There are tastes that exist between individuals that is for certain. I don't agree that there is no value in discussing a work of art. There is knowledge beyond that of taste to consider.
It is important that the artist enjoys there work. Casting off any criticism or opinion as a difference in taste does not give the artist the chance to grow. As it is important to note not all critics are interested in tearing down a work of art for the simple sake of pointing out flaws.

I do know the value of discussing about a work of art.
The question is that I just wanted to simplify some points.
If someone make art for themself, than I think it's useless to discuss about taste, techniques and other skills required to turn their work into masterpieces, since the main objective is the self-satisfaction.
Now, if someone make art for a certain public or (why not) for the world, than the discussion and observation are necessary.
But for me, I see photography and cosplay as hobby, so I only look for my self-satisfaction.

The concept of self-satisfactory art does make quite a bit of since. The lines do blur when one post self satisfying art for the world to see. Some what perplexed and confused at that concept.
I suppose there is some intrinsic value in showing others what makes you happy. A description as to why it satisfy you would help to usher a positive result in such an display. It really is a curious way of displaying art.
