I adore blossoms. Cherry Blossoms, Plum Blossoms, Peach Blossoms, Weeping Cherry.... all so very very pretty.It's my favourite part of Spring - the blossoms
This is a photograph of our Cherry tree in the backyard. Damn, I love that tree.
Used the digital cross-process technique again. All apologies to my usual watchers who might just cringe at the sight of this!

Oh! This is just wonderful! It reminds me a lot of one of Van gogh's pieces - his "Blossoming Almond Tree" - only his was an painting, not a photograph, but still, extremely lovely!

What I find really interesting is that my first impression when looking at this image is a sense of death.
I'm really drawn to the high contrast, the turquoise background, the black tones at the four corners of this picture, and the fact that a large portion of this image is blurry. All together these elements create a mysterious sense of beauty and convey a dream-like quality that seems to associate with the unknown and the things that are yet to come.
I think the blurry areas make the image look like it's captured in motion, and this portrays a feeling of brevity and uncertainty.
Overall, it looks really unique and stunning!! I absolutely love it~~

I love this picture! I like how the blue from the sky compliments the pink from th flowers, and the black from the branches really brings focus to the sky and flowers. Very cool!
