I should be shot for that pun, Well anyways...

Well here we have yet another Splatoon/Splatoon 2 styled pic. (the art and characters are simply just a joy to draw) This is a new O.C of mine, a 19 year old Octoling named Coral. "Coral has been an Octoling recruit for a few years now (ever since the events of Splatoon 1). But a few years of training have given her quite the edge and she has even bested a foe in combat (presented in the pic obviously). However she is still rash and takes a little too much joy in toying with her foes, she sometimes will even refer to them as her playthings. (Her domineering attitude doesn't help either.) This ends up preventing her from being declared an "Elite Octoling" a title she very desperately wants." This might be further explored in future pics. If anybody wants to see more of Coral, let me know as well.

The single foot over the knee position is one that I have seen done (both in pics as well as real references) and is a perspective/position I have always wanted to try out. Hope it came out decently.

This pic is also a sort of tribute to the recently announced "Octoling story expansion" for Splatoon 2 from Nintendo Direct. They also stated that 2018 is the year of the Octoling, so I thought (dumbly) why not?
