*grr..i typed a full discription of this already but then somehow my browser got closed and i gotta do it again!*ahem... anyways this week theres nothing way too fancy in terms of completed polished art, but i like it all the same. this was done on a toned paper sketchbook which i think everyone should get at least 1 of, since the texture of the paper is really great for drawing, and any whites you add to the page just leap out more, and lastly the books only cost $1!!!

its a really nice picture. When I look at it though I kinda feel sorry for the kid. Makes me feel like there is a pedophyle in front of her.

Teacher and student eh? Interesting concept. I imagine he's probably asked her about the usage of integers in the workplace and she's now staring at the rest of the class as if to say "Shit I dunno somebody help me out."
I find it interesting how a lot of your detail goes into the faces of your characters and their bodies, like their ears and teeth and tongues. It creates an interesting effect, especially for your older characters. Take the teacher for example. Compared to the girl here he has a LOT more creases and indentations among other things. His chin kind of looks like the shell of an insect or an upside-down cliff, which is neat if anything. Makes him look more unreal.
And what's with the red blotches? Looks like they've broken out in some kind of rash.

arrgghh you caught me again! yeah those red blothes were supposed to be blended more a bit but i guess i got a bit infatient and scanned it right away, which is something that can be remedied in five seconds with a paintbrush and some water, the girls red blotches i can get away with since it can be argued its a skintone or shes blushing.
hahaahahha i like your interpretation of why the girl is having such a weird look on her.
