I had to search for this. Surprising and instructive.
And of course very well executed.Β

There's not many depictions of Cambodia since the history is a bit hazy, but this however is so beautifully done. I feel rejuvenated in a way. Excellent work!

Woah, fascinating story. The things you learn!Β Had not idea of the Spaniards in Cambodia - also japanese mercs around the world!? Do you know if this happened before Japan's isolationism?Β Β
Good work, as always, anyway.

The men in the back look like they're wearing samurai gear. Is this what Cambodian warriors wore as armor?

Very interesting! First time I'm seeing Wako pirates in art. You sure know how to go for obscure and interesting stuff.

My guess would be Japanese mercenaries / wako-pirates in Spanish/Portuguese employ in the area.

Mercenarios japoneses que trabajaban para el rey camboyano. Los espaΓ±oles fueron a reponer al rey depuesto por un "golpe de estado".
