Shizuru's eyes look haunting as she gazes into Natsuki's. The girlz a gonner for sure.

I lack the technical expertise to give a thorough critique of the paintings - All I can give you is, beautiful paintings, they capture the elegant strength of the two leads very well, I like them very much and the way the bodies are proportioned and detailed is simply gorgeous. The only thing I can say to the negative is that maybe the shading on shizuru's face on the third drawing and natsuki's on the second drawing (last panels on each) are maybe too dark and cut the lines of their faces too sharply, but that may be an awesome technical stroke of genius that I'm not aware of. ^^ At any rate, wonderful work, I'm a fan of the art work and in love with the story - c'est magnifique!

The background of the first panel is really pretty, is it an extreme close-up of Natsuki's iris? As if Shizuru's lost in her eyes? But since the bodyguard looks like she's going to have a stroke, I guess what she is staring at is located beneath her face... Not that I would call the general a pervert... Natsuki's blush is adorable!
All the time I was wondering what the title stood for... Just perfect! XD
Thank you Ethnewinter for these beautiful paintings! You should definitely carry on with watercolors and western style! It really suits your story!
By the way, the grainy scan does not bother me. Au contraire, it gives a velvet touch to your pictures. (and I'm also particularly fond of film grain/analog photography)
