So I got the idea to make a bit of a back story for my Halo persona, Etoli. Nothing as fancy as a fanfic, but just a little something behind the character, for fun. I don't really have it written down, but now and then I'll get these "snapshots" from her adventures in the Haloverse.So these are the ladies of the specialized battlefield medic devision, Mercy of the Gods, frantically prepping in the early hours of the morning. . . and unfortunately Etoli's a bit lethargic anytime before 8 am; even M'ree can't hurry her up sometimes. XD
Eh, I hope to color this eventually. . .maybe. . . it's in the workshop waiting! Headed to scraps for now. . .

Very good drawn. Did you use a green pencil or is that 'cus of the scan? (my scanner makes pencil look blue sometimes.. )

Dude Awsome pic. I love the poses they are all in. BTW I don't think the dude in the left looks squished, maybe just bring his left leg out to the left a hair so he looks like he's got a better balance. IDK I can't really find anything but magic with this pic. You did an awsome job and you have an awsome character. Keep up the good work.

This is definitely one of the nice art I have seen! A glimpse of the elite's life in the medical section of the Covenant. I have not seen female elites operating in the covenant army, but as medics they could be useful and important too, when they have to save lives.
This picture sure describes how frantic the female elites are trying to get ready for the battlefield casualities before they come into the medical room! Well, it looks like they were halfway dressed before the male elite sargeant walked in!
What a nasty shock! One has only one of her hoofs socks on, another have not put on her helmet, and another have not finished dressing her suit yet! Oh, and Etoli was still struggling with her face shin-plate...thingly. It looks to me that they are in a locker room, getting ready to rush for the medical room. And to mention that they could be late for their duties! (and breakfast too! ^_^) And the three females are shocked to see a male elite coming in while the fourth has her jaws dropped. Etoli, seems to be the only one who didn't notice anything! Hope that she can wriggle herself out of this and get some breakfast (hopefully some waffles or bread and some drink) before they run out!
Could be better if they have some dialogue: (try mine)
Etoli: "Arrgh! Damn! This thing won't GO IN!"
Female Elite (behind her): "Quick! The sergeant is coming! Told you to wake up at the 7th cycle! We are LATE!!"
Female Elite: (middle)"Darn it! I am only half-dressed!"
Female Elite: (extreme left)"Where's my helmet? Don't tell me I lost it!"
Female Elite: (left)"Wonder what's for breakfast?...erm...why is the sergeant here?
(all of them stared at the sergeant who strode into the locker room)

Lol! XD Well you've certainly captured the frantic energy that I was going for. For the most part, they're on time, but it's Etoli who's the late one! She's actually the one sitting atop the canister trying to get her shin guard on, and M'ree is the one who's urgently hissing HE'S HERE!
Because yes, the commander is here to debrief them. . . better hurry, Eto!

It's a specialized medical combat devision of the Covenant, though its roots lie in the ancient tradition of the Sangheili. I've. . .yet to write about that. :3 I will, though!

Wow, this is a very, very good idea. I've never really thought much about what the female of the race would do, but it seems to make sense that they'd want to help fight the unrightious themselves, anyway(s) they can! I think it's neat how you worked your character into the Haloverse, and then managed to create such a great idea around what she'd do. Really strikes out the creativity. A real shame you're hesitant on the story.

Oh, absolutely not! I love it when I people can glean a story from a piece of art without the artist having to lay everything out in black and white. It's like solving a puzzle; with the clues hidden in the artwork. I'm not one much for sarcasm.

Now, aside from that, she appears to be startled by the male's sudden appearance. I speculate she was surprised because she was in the middle of changing and therefore unfit for appearance in the presence of a male. I find the Covenant to put honor above many things, even modesty. And seeing as how the males are likely to be held in higher regard than women, that could have been it also.
But, I don't think males should EVER walk in while women are changing, Human or Covenant.
