Description
A birthday present for a friend.
A hair slide, in the shape of 2 sycamore leaves and 2 oak leaves, painted in a stylised autumnal style.

This one was interesting in that I was on a deadline to create it, that was fine. What wasn't fine is that I lost my carving tools (I've since found them) so all the texturing and embossing on this was done with a scalpel and an electrician's screwdriver. Didn't work out too badly, all things considered.

Formed out of 2.6mm vegetan leather and then painted with liquitex acrylics.
Attaches to the hair via an 80mm barrette at the back
