Been sitting on this one for a while as I wanted the lady, for whom I made it, to get to see it before I uploaded pictures to the web.

Made as a present for a friend who like butterflies, and whose favourite colour is, I am advised, blue.

Crafted from 2.6mm vegetan leather, soaked and moulded over face whilst applying heat from a hairdryer.

I'd originally intended to do gradiations of colour from light blue to dark heading towards black at the edges, I accidentally dropped a bit of light blue at the top-right corner of the mask though and when trying to clear it off went "Ye know? This works."
The rest of the paint job followed after that.
