Description
The new shuttlecrafts from the Andromeda Initiative. The SH-3 Shuyak class.The Shuyak Shuttlecraft is a non-military version of the well know Kodiak Drop Shuttle of the Systems Alliance. It can carry up to fourteen people, including pilot and copilot. It is a personnel carrier capable of planetary flight and is capable of limited FTL travel.
The Kodiak class Dropship is a 15 Year old design which was redesign and refited over and over again. It is proof of a solid working design which is always brought up to the latest tech. The SH3 Shuyak is the newest variation of the Kodiak which was put into service between 2180 and 2185 to the same time, the Systems Alliance presents the UT-47-A Kodiak, a more armed version for the military.
While the UT-47-A gets more weapons and a sensor scrambler, the civilian SH-3 gets better long range sensors, a science data bank and improved vector control engines which makes the ship a bit more agile compared to the old UT-47 Kodiak.

Where did you get the name of this craft? Did you call it that or is it the official name??

No, the name is not official. The only type name we have are from the hull painting, the SH-3.
I tryed to give the ship some basic background info, so i use a name which relateted to the well known Kodiak Shuttle from the Trilogy. The Kodiak class was named after the Kodiak Bear who live mostly at the Kodiak Island and the Shuyak islands.

Huh. Knew about the Kodiak being named after the bear, but had forgotten about them also being on Shuyak Island. For my AI Kodiak shuttle, I have named it the SH-3 Glacier while the larger Transport Shuttle is the SH-5 Nanook. The Nanook is also based on an older idea I had where the Alliance had a larger version of the Kodiak which I named the UT-49 Marmot, don't know where I got the name though, which I have decided to base on the larger Transport Shuttle found in Andromeda. So thanks.

Cursed be Bioware for all damage they done to Mass Effect Andromeda. If they still had the same quality standards, passion and respect for the consumers from the good old times, that would never happened.

They made two big mistakes. New untested game engine (Frostbyte) and they published the game half a year too early.

If EA have not forced them to use that stupid Frostbyte Engine and if they have used of more time to polished the game, such damage would not have happened.
