Me and my buddies from the Euderion Fangroup try to deal with a little world building for our projects during the corona lockdowns. Currently we made a bit history stuff for all the ships with the name Euderion which came before our Akira ship in the late 24th Century. Here we have the Captain of the first ship with the Name Euderion, an old Daedalus class cruiser. I saw so much Star Trek OC's who are based on actors and celebrities but i wanted for my own OC a fresh face. So i tryed to generate it with A.I.

So, here is Natasha Euderion shortly after her promotion to Captain.

Character Overview

The name Euderion is known to everyone in the Alpha Centauri colonies. In 2070 the siblings Victor and Tanja Euderion were the leaders of a private funded large-scale exploration and colonization mission into the Alpha Centauri system. They built humans first extra-solar bases and were the foundation stone for the Alpha Centauri colonies, which would later one of the first founding members of the United Federation of Planets.

Natasha Euderion is the great granddaughter of the Colony founder Victor Euderion. She never liked being associated with her big name and left her home system relatively early to apply to Starfleet and pursue her own path.

In 2153, shortly before graduating from the Academy, she barely survived the attack by the Xindi probe. Following this disaster, Natasha volunteered and was immediately transferred to the Enterprise NX-01. After successfully completing the Xindi mission, she will remain on the Enterprise for a few years.

In 2156, the second year of the war with the Romulans, Euderion, now Lt. Commander, transferred to the new Endeavor NX-06 and served there as a weapons officer until the end of the war. After the war, further missions on the Intrepid and the Ticonderoga followed in order to finally be assigned to the "Daedalus - Mark III" project, a fleet-wide modernization of the old Daedalus class cruisers which are now also to be used for scientific and exploration missions.

The name of the first Mark III Daedalus built in the Alpha Centauri system goes back to Admiral Archer himself. Even a great admirer of the first Euderion exploration mission to Alpha Centauri and impressed by Natasha Euderion's achievements in the past war, he promptly issues the order to name Captain Euderion's ship after her family. Without the possibility of contradiction and realizing the irony that she originally went to Starfleet to escape her family name only to later be given command of a ship with that name, she accepts the promotion to captain and command of the first completely redesigned Mark 3 - Daedalus ship of the fleet, the USS Euderion NCC-126.

I'm not sure what Admiral Archer was thinking of naming my ship "Euderion". Maybe he wanted to make sure that I would always remember the great effect this name has on the people here in the system. But how could I ever have forgotten that?!? It was precisely because of this effect that I left Alpha Centauri and made my way to the stars.

Euderion ... this name makes people here do things. Wonderful, great things ... inexpressible, unforgivable things. ... maybe it is now my turn to inspire people to follow their hearts and choose the right path. ... it is time to find out what this name - my name - really means. I'm curious where the journey will take us!

Euderion is a small fangroup who creates short films, Cosplay images and fanfiction on a regular base. We are not professionals and mostly operate on a low- to no-budget level, where the focus is on having fun with the material. The story revolves around the Starfleet ship USS Euderion a Akira class cruiser in the 24th century and her crew.
