The Starcraft Minotaur class Battlecruiser, the newest version of the Terran Battlecruiser design.Battlecruisers were employed during the Guild Wars when space engagements were fought by capital ships and medium-sized gunships. The large warships adapted to carry strike craft which augmented and complemented the combat value of both. Battlecruisers continue to be an integral part of terran space forces as general purpose warships and command ships during extended campaigns.
The Minotaur-class underwent field testing at Valhalla, and came into service in 2502, used by the Terran Dominion.
Minotaurs can be upgraded with a variety of tactical systems. This includes the Type-V Yamato cannon, energy shields, anti-aerospace missile pods, and a defensive matrix. By the End War, terran engineers had been able to devise new technology for the ship, allowing it to teleport across great distances.

I always wonder why they didn't have at least a few more classes of ships.ย But what they had are great.ย As you shown with your wonderful skills.

The overall design was the same, but they had different classes. (Leviathan, Minotaur, Behemoth, or Hercules classes) The battlecruiser designs differ in size, armament and warp capabilities but because of the same layout there are hard to differiate from each other. It seems to be a proof of a solid working design which is always brought up to the latest tech.

They basically found one hull that worked good enough and made it as modular as they could.ย And I am sure it has Nothing to do with the fact that they had to deal with game balance and marketing what not.ย It is a sexy design.ย I want and don't more 'Starcraft' games.ย For I like their feel and want more of that but it has to have a new story with most likely new main characters.ย It just feels like their stories are done.ย They might do cameos but not much more then that.

I love these Battlecruisers. They are pretty tough in terms of firepower and technical advancements. Initially, during the Alpha and Beta of StarCraft 2, they had Plasma Torpedoes, which they can decimate platoons of infantry, but they removed due the fact of getting superior over the Siege Tank (but it is still possible to see in the Map Editor those cannons). Even that, they are still my favorite Terran Starship.

Should have let you switch back and forth between ground and air, only it takes 10-20 seconds to change it. I hate they over nerf stuff for pvp....
