Ehhh, shotguns don't make very good sniper guns, and I'll give you three reasons for why that is:
#1: Shotguns don't have as far a range as sniper rifles do.
#2: Shotguns are loud, while sniper rifles are silent.
#3: Shotguns fire pellets, or "Buck Shots" that scatter over a wide range, while sniper rifles fire bullets that go straight over a long range, and are much more accurate than "Buck Shots".
In short, shotguns are best used in close-quarter gunfights while sniper rifles are....what the.....HOLY SHIT! SHE'S NOT WEARING ANY UNDERWEAR!!!

#2: Β Sniper rifles are extremely loud unless you attach a silencer. Even with one they aren't silent. That is a myth.
#3: Shotguns can fire a wide range of ammunition types beyond just buckshot. For example, slugs are not pellets but a single large "bullet". Furthermore, Β long range rifle projectiles do not "go straight", they arc based on force, gravity, wind, and many other external affects.Β
All that being said, the words "Shotgun" and "Sniper" should never be used together.Β

Has it occurred to anyone else she might have been sleeping when awakened suddenly and needing to grab her home-defence rig? That said, elbow off the railing next time (hard [like an elbow] to soft [sandbag] or soft [like tricep] to hard [like that railing], hard to hard is less stable), and why is she pointing a shotgun (effective range 65-130 feet) from so high up? If it's the only thing available, I could see it. Better than a handgun, certainly, but not one's first choice.
Other than that, not sure why the belts are there 
Then again, I'm really not sure why she's leaning on the railing at all. Even with a rifle, if you had run out to investigate something that would not be your first thought.

Perhaps, given we don't know the layout of the place, she is awaiting to ambush the intruder/attacker through a window, fire escape, or just other section of the patio behind the photographer?
Just the first possibilities that popped to mind.

Also, going by the lack of other firearm-involved pictures in your gallery these seems almost like you woke up one day and were like "I'm gonna put a picture of someone 'sniping' with a shotgun on DA and see how many people I troll LOLOLOL".

Alrighty.. First and foremost it's not that difficult to get your hands on a rifle, no matter where you are or your local gun laws, if you want it you can find it. The sense of power and sexuality could have been achieved with rifle designed for this kind of shot, give it a sleek stock with smooth lines and nice flow, along with a scope that makes a statement but isn't so big that it makes her look like she's compensating for anything (not saying she has anything to compensate for).
As far as what's behind the gun, i'm certainly not complaining about seeing a beautiful woman with no pants on, but there is a time and place for everything, and here and now is not a place to have the carpet out for all to see. Personally i'm thinking some panties, not dental floss, er, a thong i mean, or g-string. No i mean a serious pair of panties, black/dark blue, with a little bit of lace, but not enough for it to be frilly or overly feminine.
Another thing to consider is for her to actually pick a target when she's aiming, because right now she has this... off into space look, like she's just standing there, holding the gun because she was told to. I challange you to crate the scene. MAKE US BELIEVE THAT YOU CAPTURED THE MOMENT! you may know it's not real, we may know it's not real, but just for a moment make us believe, draw us in, and leave us wanting more by leaving some mystery to the girl.
Over all nice piece, but i'd love to see you run farther with this idea. If you need ideas for weapons to use i'm certain your fellow users would be more than happy to help you =]

I get what you're trying to say, but it's not "redundant". Guntaping two shotguns together, running a ziptie through the trigger loops and using the setup at close range would be redundant. Or getting two different snipers to snipe one person at the same time. Or calling in an airstrike to kill a single fireteam. Think of redundancy as "effective, but maybe 'too effective'"... sniping with a shotgun is ineffective, and just plain silly.

While I don't consider this art, it seems that you and this piece's proprietor do. I suppose art doesn't have a rigid set of criteria, and instead is highly subjective. I guess I just need to try to grasp that not everyone thinks like me.

Yeah, that was TOTALLY the point I was trying to make. Not how "using a shotgun as a sniper is not logical" is a TOTALLY valid argument to use against someone who's on a balcony without any pants.
