Darren Naish recently wrote an article (blogs.scientificamerican.com/t… ) on the life appearance of the Pleistocene woolly rhinoceros (Coelodonta antiquitatis).
I tried following his instructions and ended up with this rather unamused rhinoceros. Also, it snowed today here, thus the snowy scene.

Though I think the Cenozoic has been too long and variable to really choose favourites from the endless menagerie of weird and wonderful creatures.

Looks cold. ^^` I love how the horns came out, and all that fur. If I were to randomly see a wooly rhino - whether back from extinction or bred to be - I'm sure it'd look like that.
