Description I made this artwork after a friend of mine asked if angels would suddenly exist and show up in the physical realm of today's present society. Since i imagined angels as beings whose bodies would sooner become a natural resource for those who crave for their purity. The orc and the child are symbols for something all too familiar.

Done in charcoal and colored pencil and cleaned up using photoshop but i consider this more traditional than digital.

I love the whimsical yet dark nature of this. Without the usual 'dark' elements (ie goth styling) . Well done! May I recommend making this available as a print? I'd get one. hint hint nudge nudge...

Hehehe, i wish i could but im too lazy to think of anything at the moment. I have so many ideas and half-baked projects i fear any concepts derived from this artwork would be hidden away in my little scratch book under all the piles of laundry. But thanks nevertherless.

Thanks! Actually part of my inspiration was derived from Neil Gaiman's view of Angels in his compiled book "Angels and Visitations".
