TumblrContrary to popular belief, I am, in fact, alive!! Long time, no see, DA. ANYWAYS. These are my pokemon babies and they're not the strongest or rarest ones I have (well, maybe the Omanyte fits in the "rarest" category), but these are the 6 I'm choosing to create personalities for, so yeah. Complete with Pokemon Trainer Eva.

I chose Mystic because I like Blue and Articuno the most... but honestly, I pretty much resonate with the whole "I'm in it for the fun" air about Instinct that and I love that team's leader too, he's freaking adorable.

Oh man, Spark is so precious. I adore him. And yet... for some reason from what I've read, he is quite hated? And I'm like "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?" because that made no sense whatsoever to me.

I DON'T KNOW MAN, BUT IT'S HORRIBLE AND THEY ALL HAVE SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THEM. (lol Yessssss. That's the best thing ever. My brother was Team Instinct before the reveal and he like, always calls Spark a piece of shit, but I'm pretty sure he likes him anyway.

This is really good though?? I also adore how you gave the arbok its own unique cobra hood pattern, it looks really badass!! Also the vulpix, sandshrew and omanyte are really adorable and I want to hug all of them.Β

Yeah I named my Arbok after a star wars character who has these awesome diamond tattoos, so I made her hood design more geometric to match! Leave it to me to bring star wars into Literally Everything

And yeah! There are three ranger games in all, the original Pokemon Ranger and the two sequels: Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia & Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs. The Almia game is my personal fave of the three games, but the third is pretty good in its own right as well. All three can be played on either the DS or first edition of the 3DS so you should be able to get your hands on 'em fairly easy depending on what your local gamestop has in it's pre-owned game section. Either that or just go on amazon I guess.Β

let me tell you something though, if I was an actual pokemon trainer, my pokemon would all be the resurrected fossil/dinosaur ones or water types. or both. both is good.
NICE. Although, I guess I'd better actually finish the first one before I get the others... (I've had this game for 10 years and I've never finished it, how sad is that? It's always been one of my favorite DS games but I've NEVER FINISHED IT. I always get stuck on the STUPID HIDEOUT INFILTRATION MISSION, THOSE BLINKING TILE THINGS MIGHT AS WELL BE THE FIRES OF HELL FOR ALL THE TROUBLE THEY GIVE ME. I HATE THOSE THINGS.) that "waiting to finish" thing is a filthy lie, you can bet yourself 20 bucks that i'll be on amazon in 0.2 seconds

I don't blame you for liking the fossil pokemon. The SECOND gen 6 came out Tyrunt and Tyrantrum became two of my all time favorite pokemon. The prehistoric ones are always pretty sweet though. I'm looking at you Armaldo you badass cool lookin' scorpion monster thing you.
Also now that I have Pokemon Go I'm now falling into the same trap you have with Pokemon. I love my Bulbasaur and Clefable too much send hEL P.Β

Also you definitely should finish the first pokemon ranger game. The final battle is that good ((albeit very challenging)), and if you have access to the fourth generation main series games ((Diamond Pearl or Platinum)) You have a chance to send a Manaphy egg to those games after you beat the main story!! And Manaphy's one of the hardest pokemon to get ((even after the 20th anniversary giveaway event going on now)).
and yes go forth and find the other two ranger games. play them. all of them.

Arbok? Yeah, it's awesome! I did actually tweak the design a bit here and there to fit with this particular Arbok's namesake (she's named after Barriss Offee from Star Wars, and since Barriss has more geometrical patterns everywhere I decided to redesign Barriss the Arbok to match).
