Description The idea shared in these figures is a defined body type. The fact a person with a certain body type is associated with certain things. Whether it outsources the public with sexuality, activity, or eating habits, all things people enjoy judging a person by on first glance, whether it is purposful or not. The individual photos of these figures are in my gallery.

It's interesting how on the woman you made her body very muscular. I mistook it for a man until I read one of the comments. Lol

Ps. Congrats on the DD

I'm thinking of making a really slender couple sometime to get a more feminine male in the mix.

:fist pump: Yes I got one right! I have been enjoying the other ideas people have for your pair. It's so fun to see the 101 different ideas (& feelings) people have when we all look at the same piece of art. (like you said with body styles/types)

Or cloud watching?

This is wicked cool! You have to make them into chessmen! Naked chess figures would attract more people into the game... and instead of them wearing cones or cylinders , they'd wear crowns or rook tops, etc. Reminds me of Harry Potter's wizard chess

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Evalad In reply to Dragonfly22 [2013-02-18 23:32:23 +0000 UTC]

Ahah! I'm sure it would. I like the idea of pieces of the chessboard pieces instead of geometrics. It would make a very sweet installation for a home.

i love this because it is thought-provoking! for me it shows that people do not fit in neat little "categories" and we should not structure assumptions around body types. the white-stoneware figure, for example, mixed both the masculine and feminine attributes that most assign to binary bodies.
