Later on, we catch our old friend, the Grandluxe Express, on it's American South by Rail tour from New Orleans LA to Washington D.C. The train had an overnight stop in Savannah GA before continuing on it's journey. The power is 3 P42DC's leading the consist of 17 Restored Vintage Coaches to it's next stop in Richmond VA. The train would go on to tour the rails of the US, Canada, & Mexico before falling victim the Great Recession of 2008. Though the train is now gone, it remains on the best trains we caught from the Mid 1990's to the late 2000's.
