Description
On the morning of June 18, 2001, we're on the former Cotton Belt Main outside of Chester IL to catch UP Challenger #3985 on a 2001 NRHS Convention Special from St. Louis MO to Gorham IL & return. Soon, we catch the Challenger & her train racing pass a Loaded Coal Train from the Powder River Coal Fields heading for Fort Worth TX. This would be the consist that 3985 would pull for the rest of the year.evangaines 2023
