Description On the morning of September 4, 1998, we're on BNSF's Seattle Subdivision outside of Tacoma WA to chase our old friend, the American Orient Express, on it's tour from Denver CO to Seattle WA via Santa Fe NM, the Grand Canyon, & Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks. Soon, we caught the AOE racing through the Columbia River Gorge, bound for Seattle. The train had been on a 5 day trips from Denver, making stops in Salt Lake City, The Grand Canyon, Santa Fe NM, & both Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks. The power is 2 P42DC's leading the 15 Vintage Coaches to the Emerald City. The train would reach Seattle, a few hours later.
