g2(Digger) : that not a jerk move, THAT a reasonable point and it's concerning me.
I thought this Mobius Prime after Eggman use his Floating machine to restart there universe, well known as The Genesis wave. But this part literally putting characters from Sonic the comic mix in.
So.....
I don't know what Universe I'm looking at anymore. I know a little bit about Sonict.Comic and that computer guy though.

There is indeed an overarching plot. Not the best or tightest, but it is there. I started this story when I was 14 with about three-fifths of a plan for where it was going, and have had to reinvent it several times in the following ten years.

Here's the cliffnotes version:

In one of their many battles, Sonic is finally defeated by Eggman. With his last breath, he uses Chaos Control to expel the Emeralds from the universe, so Eggman can never get his hands on them. But Tikal appears to warn him; doing this will eventually doom the universe, as in time it will die without the Emeralds there. She offers Sonic the opportunity to become a spirit guardian, like her, with the mission to eventually recover and protect the Emeralds. He'll need to find the one person in the universe with the power to bring the Emeralds back, and travel the multiverse together in search of them. Sonic agrees, the Emeralds disappear, and he dies.

Emeralds or no, Eggman is pretty stoked about his victory... until Shadow, whom Eggman had under mind control and was just forced to murder Sonic and his friends, regains control of himself and turns his fury on Eggman, killing him as well. Shadow is wracked with guilt as he realizes how much blood is on his hands, so when Sonic's disoriented spirit appears, asking for help, Shadow teams up with him on his mission. Flash forward 200 or so years, and we meet Silver: a seemingly-normal kid who, as it turns out, has the ability to safely recover the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic and Shadow, a little worse for wear after a few centuries of wandering around looking for him, recruit Silver to help them. And but "recruit" I mean "kidnap and accidentally awaken superpowers". He's mostly OK with it now.

From there, Sonic, Silver, and Shadow have been slowly collecting Emeralds... it turns out they're not the only ones interested, as their adventures have been monitored and manipulated by nefarious forces such as the ruthless computer A.I. Nicole, dark spirits Scourge and Antique from from the mirror-universe of Moebius, and and even greater, godlike entity that is pulling the strings of all these villains. As our heroes approach their prize, they'll find out just how much these villains have shaped their fates: you can never escape your past.

They've found allies along the way too, though. Silver's sisters Sicily and Vennie are here to help along with a rehabilitated Metal Sonic, and Silver's maybe-probably-girlfriend Blaze. Silver's parents and Blaze's dad are also in the superheroics business, as a secret society called the New Chaotix. Tikal, overcoming her shyness, aids the team when she can... while her feelings for Sonic grow into something more than friendship.

In their current adventure, the team is traveling through time and space on the trail of another Emerald when they discover what appears to be one of Eggman's bases in an extra-dimensional Special Stage. They've stumbled into the lair of the Dr. Robotnik of another universe entirely, who has captured two of their universe's Emeralds. He is already battling his nemesis: the very much alive Sonic the Hedgehog of his world (they're from the Sonic the Comic continuity).

Ah thank you so much! That does actually help quite a bit! And thank you for taking the time to type it all out.
I've been following the comic for almost 2 years more or less now, and although I've read everything from page 1 up to now, Maybe trying to get through that much content in a short time span scrambled my brain a bit because I was left really bogged down and unsure as to what the running plot-line was.
Thanks again, and thanks for taking my question seriously. I was worried I might sound like I was just trying to be a jerk about it.
