I really like the colour scheme but also wish it would be a little less zoomed in; a bit more muzzle and maybe ear.

I agree, this is an older piece and it show's in comparison to some of my newer work.Β  The colours are also a bit dull for my taste, although some people do prefer a more subtle palette.
