Wow! Was this done with a stencil, or freehand? The crisp edges are amazing. And the colors are gorgeous too!

Thanks   It was done freehand in pencil first and then I erased the pencil til it was only just visible.  I've found for these I work on canvas paper rather than watercolour paper, the water doesn't run outside of the brush strokes on the canvas paper so you can get a really controlled edge.

Whoa, I've never heard of canvas paper but that sounds awesome. Will have to investigate! Sounds like a great technique
