Me at 7. With horrible hand me down, super long, greasy, unkept hair, terrible teeth and creepy habits such as burying the mouses my cat killed in the back of the house and taking care of their graves.How cute.Β

I think it's like, if you're a compassionate kid, and you know that people who die get funerals/graves as a way of respect and mourning, then the next logical step is to give the poor mousey that same respect after death At least, I think that's why my sister and I did it (I think she did it too...)
(the only thing is I was also like "don't step on dead leaves on the road b/c they probably don't want to be stepped on" at that age XD)

You know what, I do related a lot to this drawing as well, I used to do the exact same each time my cat was bringing birds home
