This imagery is just incredible. The way you did the lights on the machine is awesome, and I love the stark dark shapes against the whitish backdrop.

Creating the lights is one of the main reasons I think the atmosphere has that War of the World effect,very erie and sinister.
I wanted to also create noise,which I know sounds daft but I think if you really study a picture and its enviroment than you can get a imagined bearing of (invisible/silent) sound.

Light is such an important aspect of art composition, definitely a huge factor in violence and effects on the viewer. Definitely sinister.
It is daft, but it makes so much sense! I've seen a lot of pictures where I can "hear" the chaos or serenity of them, and this is definitely true for this picture as well.

Yeah theres loads of works out there that you can feel a sense of noise.
I tend to see it as an important way of creating works now.
