Another photo from my Winter 2010 Belle photo shoot. There is a book store just down the street from my house so naturally I could not resist getting some photos there. The interior was perfect, and with the owner's permission I was able to get some really awesome shots.Any use of this photo without my explicit permission is strictly prohibited. All rights reserved. And you make such a very GOOD Belle as well! I've taken the "Disney Personality" Quizzes just for the hell of it, and I always seem to come up as Belle (even my best friend said that the "way Belle and I handle people we don't like" is the same). We read the same types of books, too (fairy tales, retellings of fairy tales, and adult retellings of fairy tales, Mythology, Fantasy Novels, etc.). Such a pity I don't fit her phyical description, since in terms of my own physicality, I'm certainly no "Belle", character or otherwise (not beautiful), and my coloring is fairly opposite. My hair's a "dark-ish blonde" (somehow, it still manages to classify as blonde), I have blue eyes, and light eyebrows which actually do look blonde (if they were the same color as my hair, they'd be more visible). I also almost never wear makeup (too much trouble).
Back to your costumes; Yeah! You should totally do more cosplays of Belle's other dresses (Winter Pink dress with red cloak, her Christmas dress which she should have worn when Adam was STILL a beast. Seeing in th golden gown at Christmas bothered me, since that story took place before the ballroom scene in the first movie, etc.)! Maybe you could also design costumes that you think Belle might wear, too. As long as there is a sense of Belle about them.

Thank you! Belle is so awesome! I love her character, especially since she's a fantasy bookworm. Fantasy and sci-fi is my fav genre.
That's really cool that you keep getting Belle. I haven't taken on of those quizzes in a long time so I don't remember my most common result. You sound like a pretty young woman. Even though you don't look like Belle doesn't mean you can't cosplay her. That's what wigs are for. I think you'd make a lovely Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. I totally agree that makeup is a hassle. I only use it for cosplay, performances, and/or presentations.
I sooooo want to make more Belle cosplays. I just watched Beauty and the Beast a couple nights ago and added at least a couple more Belle cosplays to my list. I don't remember her Christmas dress. Is it in a different movie or story book? I also found a concept art picture of Belle's original ball gown that in tend to make soon. It doesn't have any colors so I can design it how I'd like. I love your idea of designing more Belle style outfits. It sounds awesome and gives me an excuse to make more cosplays! ^_^
