Description
"The Omen" is a card representing a Deity owned by my client.Depicted as a gaunt, large crow with briar tangled over its wings, breast, and neck, threatening to choke the life from its host. The Omen appears to the children of the Bray and Wydriothi (those who live within the Cycle of nature // the children of the Dying God) in times of dire need or catastrophe. While the Omen is a spirit that aids the children of the wilds, its arrival is almost always a portent of hard times. When the Omen appears, it usually appears when Vaytul, the farthest of the three moons of Etheron, is in the sky, bathing the world in a soft, distant green light. Some stories say that the Omen itself is the bringer of change, ending an era of peace to call the Bray to war or guiding the witches of the Wydriothi to break ties with civilized folk and return to the Cycle.
